2005 Expert Group

Membership of this group included representatives from the Medical Research Council (MRC), Department of Health and screening laboratories, geneticists, midwives and parents.

To ensure that consent issues specific to blood spot storage were fully integrated within the informed choice process, there were close links between this group and the clinical consent expert group, with one joint meeting.
