Quality

In order to define what a ‘good’ screening programme should look like a set of quality standards and best practice guidelines should be followed. The standards were developed with the help of parents and professionals from different disciplines including laboratory, clinical, managerial and social research.

The Programme Centre collects data annually to measure the UK performance against the quality standards and the results are reported in the Data Collection and Performance Analysis Reports.
