Repeat blood spot samples

Occasionally the newborn screening laboratories need to ask for a repeat blood spot sample. The Programme Centre has produced information sheets for health professionals and parents that explain why a repeat sample might be needed. Health professionals are responsible for giving parents the information sheet and for answering any questions that they might have about the repeat sample.
